People are talking about our sexy bathrooms! An interview with Teddy & The Bully Bar’s own Alan Popovsky was just featured in the City Paper’s “Stall Tactics,” an article about “getting it on” in DC restaurant bathrooms.
“I’m fine with pretty much anything they do,” says Popovsky of patrons at his restaurants LINCOLN and Teddy & The Bully Bar. He won’t necessarily “interrupt” unless another patron complains.
Popovsky’s experience as a restaurateur spans decades in DC. He ran Adams Morgan bar Felix in the 1990s, and then opened Hudson Restaurant in the early 2000s.
At LINCOLN and Teddy he says, “I don’t think that there’s much of that going on.” According to the City Paper, this is more likely a reflection of the type of establishments he runs today rather than Washingtonians becoming more prude.
